# Configure the Agent

> Follow this Guide to Install the Agent and List Devices

## GPU Trader Agent

Verifying the quality of devices listed on the GPU Trader platform is critical to earning our customers' trust. The `gput-agent` provides a validation service that ensures that only devices meeting GPU Trader's minimum requirements are allowed on the platform. By leveraging AI-driven algorithms, the validation service verifies each GPU’s capability to handle intensive workloads, alerting suppliers if their hardware falls below required standards and preventing them from onboarding the device.

## Install the Agent

Follow these steps to install the agent.

    Click 'Download script' to begin provisioning.

  <Step title="Open terminal">
    Click 'Done' and open your terminal.

  <Step title="Find and Execute Script">
    Your `gput-agent` script is unique and will have the same name as the device name you created.

    Execute the script using the `sh` command. Linux will require the root user password to finish the installation.
